For the second installment of the 2023 Heart & Soil series, we had a conversation with John Gaudi of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Recyclers – a grassroots organization of dedicated volunteers redirecting tons of recyclable waste away from their municipal landfill each year.
John’s Heart & Soil Conversation outlines the highlights, challenges, and successes of the HV-GB Recyclers and includes lots of amazing photographs and testimonials from volunteers and families who continue to show up and keep this truly unique and inspiring program alive.
Near the end, we get to play a fun game called “is it recyclable?” and hear John answer questions and comments from the folks in attendance.
